Nov 17 - Updated teacher attendance entry script (tattentry0.pl) -
skips any holes between terms where teachers may be entering
attendance. Example: Andy's school had a term ending on a Friday, and
the new one starting on Monday. Teachers couldn't enter attendance on
the weekend (in the 'hole') since the script couldn't find the
term. This version ignores term end dates and only looks at term start
dates (thus ignoring any holes).


Nov 5 - Transcript Add (new version; general release) - ok following
testing by Andy. 

Nov 2 - Transcript Add (Beta testing) - add transcripts manually for
new students, etc. This will use values from the transcript
configuration file (tscript.conf) as well as existing values in the
transcript tables.


Oct 14 - Transcript Edit/Delete script (tscdeled.pl) - failed to
delete a record since original had the execute commented out. This
updated script will also delete the student ident record if the last
transcript data record is deleted for the student. Transcript add
script on the way (ie. manual course add). 


Oct 13 - new subjed071013.tgz - fixes subject editing so that blank
credit values don't display as 1 values (even though record really has
a NULL credit value.

New rpttransmon.pl - monthly PDF transfer report now show reasons for
enrollment or withdrawal (as entered when student transferred or
entered). It also contains a optional principal signature line (can be
turned on/off at top of script).



Oct 8 - ( Updated above ) subjed071008.tgz - updates to subjed.pl -
subject editing to allow more freedom for editing when subject
enrollments exist. It also adds more checking and limits term size to
max of 12 (can be reset in script, if desried). The subjdeled.pl
script which displays subjects to Edit/Delete/Clone has been updated
to display the enrollment counts for all subjects.


Oct 7 - reportcard071007.tgz - new report card testing script. New GPA
average code, attendance now does just end of term dates in final
month (not full month), new layouts, many more configuration options
(including a4 paper, etc.). This is certainly not complete, and the
script has also been refactored to simplify the next stage of
development.


Oct 5 - tattentry0.pl - new testing version of teacher attendance
entry start script. Not tested in schools, yet.


Sept 13 - staffadd.pl - fix bug in new staffadd.pl script that was
putting all staff into preregistered staff table.


Sept 12 - attrsnreset.pl - sort attendance records by student name,
rather than student number. More useful. New bulk update script
available soon (after more testing).


Sept 8 - Staff Script updates - all of the /cgi/eoy/staff* scripts
have been updated to correctly handle the staff preregistration table
(prereg_staff) table used in the preregistration process. An updated
version of the Start/End of year page (eoy.html) is also included to
call the scripts to work on the preregistration table,
instead. Located in staffupdate070908.tgz.


Sept 7 - Saskatchew SDS updates - a fix to synch enrol to fix an error
in the transfer type (re-enrol). (/cgi/sasklrn/syncenrol.pl). The
/cgi/entry/reenrol.pl script also updated to remove the re-enrol transfer
type. The only types will be 'enrol' and 'withdraw'.

Updates to Where's Waldo search/location script to add i18n support
and also support for initial searching (same as normal student search
function). (/cgi/schedule/whereswaldo.pl).

Fix to empty subject report on report card page. Failed due to library
move into /lib. (/cgi/repcard/rptemptysubjlist.pl).

Fix to subject enrollment (subject method) failure with quoted names. 
(/cgi/repcard/enroladd1.pl).



Sept 6 - another fix to evalpwrdel.pl (which still had evaljrl writing
problems). The blank subject sheet report fixed
(cgi/repcard/rptemptysubjlist.pl) due to change in location of the
libmeta library.



Sept 5 - same script ( rptenrolsumm.pl) updated to guard against data
errors in eval (caused by another older script error) which made a
couple of records with blank subjcode fields. It is now immune to that
problem.


Sept 2 - rptenrolsumm.pl (in /cgi/repcard) - fixed a bug introduced by
the rewrite. It now correctly displays the correct enrollments.


Sept 1 - dateview.pl (in /cgi/eoy) - the date viewing script has been
updated to display the alternate term dates (from the admin.conf
configuration file) when using the multiTrack setting in OA. Once set
in multiTrack mode, the mark addition scripts (for entering report
card marks) will use the correct term for entry (when there could be
different terms at the same time for a K-12 school). The term edit
script (/cgi/repcard/termed.pl) also senses this multiTrack mode and
allows setting of the different tracks (ie. grade groupings).


August 30 - fixed the student subject grade enrollment script
(enroladdgr.pl) found in /cgi/repcard and on the report card page to
add subject enrollments grouping students by grade. It displayed a
faulty 'flag' user during confirmation of addition. This is now
fixed. It did it's job correctly, but the additional flag line was
disconcerting. A few other tweaks to the script were done also.

/cgi/repcard/evalpwrdel.pl - fixed a problem when student has a single
quoted name when doing power delete of his/her subjects and the last
one is removed. The write into the evaluation journal would fail. Fixed.

fixsubject.sql - in the 225to230 updates area in the utilities
folder. A mistake here would cause it to fail (I forgot to change the
'weight' field into the 'difficulty' field in two locations rather
than 1. This version now updates the subject table correctly. Really!

 
August 25 - attendance.html - updated to remove the values no longer
required by the attendance profiles report. It now generates it's own
screen values internally, in the 2.40 release. ( in /admin )


August 25 - dateadd0.pl - an updated script (in cgi/eoy) that now
sports a popup calendar to speed up school date entries.


August 25 - attfix.tgz - update to teacher attendance entry to allow
setting some features of teacher attendance entry... number of teacher
entries to show, number of student entries to show, and also control
the ability of teachers to edit their own attendance (rather than
having central office make the changes). The included tattentry0.pl
goes in tcgi while and the attadd.txt file is copied into the
admin.conf just below the Sask SDS stuff at start of attendance
reasons, etc. The next release will have it in this position.


August 24 - fixsubject2.sql - a one line SQL command to change the
subject table field called 'weight' into 'difficulty'. The blank sql
files in the 2.4 release had this correctly named but the 2.25to2.30
fixsubject sql script called it 'weight' incorrectly (since this field
stores a difficulty weighting to allow a grade point of more than 1
(such as an IB or AP course for example)). Use this on the command
line with the mysql console like:

mysql -ppassword -u user database < fixsubject2.sql

This will rename the field. The fieldtype remains the same (varchar(8)).


Aug 15 - prereg.tgz - updates to preregistration transfer scripts
(prexfer0.pl, prexfer1.pl) that fail when student record contaned a
single quote (due to fogetting to uncomment a line). These have been
rewritten to bring them up to date.


Aug 6 - tchschedview.pl improved schedule viewer for daybook. It does
subject highlighting.
